I started writing songs in the summer of 2012 when I was asked to do a feature for one of my colleagues but far as my solo work I started consistently writing songs 2017. I have a mixtape on streaming that dropped 2020 & several singles with visuals out on YouTube. I’ve performed at many local showcases & a show with Lil Scrappy as a headliner.

My name is DeJuan Dennard. My artist name is Juan Weezy. I love to write songs & really get into my creative bag when I pen my lyrics down. I feel as though I’m a poet when it comes to my writing because I started off doing poetry but I spent several years of writing lyrics on my Facebook page before actually finally putting them on a beat in a studio. My father is a well known Hip Hop artist in the state of Michigan & has been stamped as a legend for his contribution of great music that he’s released. So the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree for the greatness I have in me to make music that people love as well. I’ve recorded at least 50 songs so far in the 5 years that I’ve been recording songs. I’ve been featured to perform on showcases such as Crowdfreak, Headlights Hip Hop & Footlocker Detroit. I was a featuring artist on the song/visual “ Summertime In The D” with Big Herk, Young Herk, & Ghost Sinatra which is currently at 100K views total. One of my skills as an artist would be my rhyming ability, cadences & different flows I can utilize on songs. One of my singles “I’m What You Need” was featured on a radio station on consistent rotation. I believe I should be hired because I have the experience of songwriting. The feedback is get from people is always good & my social media can attest to that. I love to write & would like to be able to write for others as well!
