Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: It’s a well thought out studio with a very nice vocal booth, Mogami cables, KRK Rokit 5 speakers, Beyerdynamic headphones, a powerful laptop with tons of plug ins, all the bells and whistles besides analog gear at the moment.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I receive projects, lay them out and organize them, find any flaws and fix them and then mix and master the project as the creator envisions it.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: They’ll receive what they want how they wanted it.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love being able to be creative and work with like minded people. There’s nothing more rewarding than creating something and watching others enjoy it.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I currently work as a driver and pre loader at UPS and my dream is to do this full time. I’ve been producing and mixing/mastering my own content + multitracks for almost a year now.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Professionalism with ease of creativity and being on time.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing and mastering beats and songs.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital because it’s fast, easy and you can take it anywhere.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: The most common question is how long a project will take. I reply with a honest estimation based on the amount of work I have in the order it came.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: It’s more simple than it looks.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I like to ask artists who their inspirations are and what inspired the track they’re bringing to me. I want to know what direction and vibe they want to take it and what creative ideas they have plus what reference tracks they have.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: My best advice to someone looking to hire a provider like me would be to know what you’re looking for and what vibe you want. It’s best to find someone who fits your style that you can be transparent with.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I have no big projects that I have ever worked on but I am looking forward to them in the future.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My own projects.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop, Apollo UAD interface, DT 770 headphones, Neumann M49 V Mic, Native Keyboard.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Dark and gritty.

A: $crim because he does everything himself and he’s a inspiration to me.

A: Use automation clips as much as you can.
