Need a lyric & melody-generator or a character pop vocal and harmony arrangement for your track? I have worked with countless Austrian & German artists and producers, have been part of various songwriting camps all around Europe and have had my songs placed in TV ads, movies and radio jingles. I would love to share my toplining skills with you!
Hey!
I'm Vida Noa - a songwriter & singer from Austria.
Over the years I have specialized in POP | EDM | INDIE POP | ACOUSTIC FOLK toplining and writing for artists and music projects. Ever since I focused on sharing my skills in lyric writing and composing melodies, I have had the pleasure to be part of many amazing writing camps all around Europe and got to write for many artists and also publishers like Universal, BMG and Sony.
What can I offer?
- TOPLINING
You have an instrumental track and are looking for a great hook to complete your song? I write lyrics in English and German and my brain is full of melodies, always.
- VOCAL RECORDING + COMPING
You are looking for a female voice to sing on your track? I vary in singing styles between ethereal "AURORA" or "ENYA" vibes and powerful mainstream pop vocals such as "Dua Lipa" or "Miley Cyrus".
- BACKGROUND VOCALS
One of my biggest specialities is arranging harmonies and creating that thick vocal layering effect for any kind of genre. You have a lead vocal on your track and are still lacking that goosebump moment? Let me help you out.
- WRITING FROM SCRATCH | 1:1 ONLINE WRITING SESSION
Give me a topic, a feeling or a vibe and I will give you a song. Genre-wise I am broadly skilled - I can give you anything from "Lady Gaga" pop anthemn, to "girl in red" Indie Pop sadness, to German Schlager.

Vida is an exceptional artist to work with !
I felt understood and supported in every step of the process. Since the song she helped me with was the main single of my first EP ever I was very nervous and wanted it to be perfect.
Her professionalism and also her way to sense what i needed from her and her powerful voice was unmatched. I never worked with a musician and songwriter like her before. The song came out way better than i thought possible! I cant wait to book her again! :) - check_circleVerified
Very professional writer with beautiful vocals! Vida's writing is super catchy and her sound fit right into our project. Communication was a breeze, so we had the project finished in no time! Can only recommend working with Vida 💯
Interview with Vida Noa
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I got to co-write a song within an all-female group. Paenda, KTEE, Christina and I came up with this track called "Boys 4 Breakfast" and now it's part of the soundtrack of an Austrian movie called "Love Machine II". Seeing the movie with the song in it was surreal and one of my proudest moments so far.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Ending a day after a long writing session and having something to listen to. A piece of art, a piece of work that you created that day. That feeling is priceless.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Julia Michaels, because she has shaped the new generation of pop music with her unique style of writing and I really look up to that.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Less is more :)
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work a lot on my own music, which can be categorized as Indie/Alt Pop and then I write a lot for mainstream pop artists in Austria.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I am a very quick writer. Usually when I am on my own I will most of the times finish a topline within an hour.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: The emotion. My strength is finding the right words for an emotion and I am also good at collecting all the ideas that come up in a room full of writers and bring it all together to make sense of it. My lyrics can be very descriptive and conversational, which makes it easier for people to relate.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When it comes to writing, I am usually somebody who first comes up with a lyric or a phrase and then the melody follows along. Most of the times it happens organically. I enjoy writing lyrics first and then creating melodies to it a little bit more than having a fixed vocal line and then filling it in with words. But both works and has it's pros and cons :)
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio setup is pretty minimalistic, but I got all I need for writing sessions and vocal recording sessions. I mostly use my JZ Vintage Mic together with my GoldenAge pre-amp to create a crisp vocal sound. Apart from that I work with Logic Pro X when recording Demos or arranging vocals.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I absolutely love Julia Michaels as a songwriter. Taylor Swift has also played a huge part in my passion for songwriting. JP Saxe and Sasha Sloan inspire me with their sharp lyric writing and I also love country music and the Nashville type of storytelling a lot.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: What I do most of the time are writing sessions, where I sit down with an artist or a producer and we write a whole new track from scratch. People also often send me tracks with existing lead vocals and ask me to add some backing vocals and harmony magic.
