Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm very proud of every project I've worked, no matter how big the artist.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I working now as mixing engineer with Russian pop-star IOWA
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Matty Harris for Pop and EDM productions.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I like to do tracking with analog consoles and outboard gear with compression and equalisation on the fly. This way can teach engineer to commit decisions and become better. And like to do mixing in DAW for it flexibility and endless possibilities.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise that I will do all my best to provide best sounding mix.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like to watch how recorded multitracks appeals to finished song, which can attract new listeners.

A: - Do we need tracking guitar takes twice? - Yes, of course!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Editing and tuning vocals is still part of production.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Try to make your production as best as you can before mixing. If song sounds good before mixing, I can do it sounding excellent after mixing.

A: MacBook Pro, Ollo S4x Headphones, Electric guitar, Midi keyboard and Apple EarPods for checking my mixes
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I'm doing mixing and mastering for clients since 2010. I graduated St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television on Sound engineer in 2013. In 2014 I opened my own studio and worked at another studios.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is modern, polished mixes sounding powerful and natural at the same time.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would like to work with Green Day, because it's a first band which opened for me modern rock genres and stilll sounding great.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: I can share my favourite tip for modern productions with live drums-using parallel compression and clipping drums bus to make it as big as possible without sacrificing headroom.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work with pop-punk and pop-rock genres.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I'm very patient and diligent, I can work with song as long as needed to get the desired result.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring to a song polish and powerful sound.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to work in communication with artist. I asked for demo-rough mix and references to understand their vision off production. And I do my best to make the artist happy with final result.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Now my main mixing setup is MacBook Pro with Pro Tools 2023 with Presonus Studio 24c and Ollo S4x Headphones.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I inspired by mixing from Tom and Chris Lord-Alge, Zack Cervini, Jordan Valeriote and Sam Guaiana.

A: I do editing, mixing and mastering works in rock genres.
