I am a 25+ year guitarist, audio engineer and owner of MashingAudio Productions. I have worked and trained with amazing engineers and musicians starting in '93. I am a fanatical chaser of thick heavy guitar tones while also producing high end songs and beats because "Bass is Life"! I welcome all genres of music into my studio!
My love for audio began in the early 90's recording my teenage grunge band with my Fostex 4 track tape console. This led me into radio and voiceover work while simultaneously introducing me to professional audio production, live sound and engineering. I mainly worked in voiceover, corporate and small music productions through the beginning years but my true passion has always been professional mixing and mastering of music. It's my true comfort zone in life.
I have produced audio projects for globally known companies' such as McDonald's and Subway, and even work with medical professionals to better hear the sounds of the heart, lungs and other internal organs for training purposes and supporting diagnosis/treatment.
I take this profession very seriously and will stop at nothing to listen to your needs and produce exceptionally professional results. I have the utmost passion and creativeness for mixing, mastering, and music production! Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently working as the Mastering Engineer on a new album by "Chive Giants"

A: I do have analog equipment that works beautifully in tandem with my high end digital processors. Each project uses both as needed to make your production sound as amazing as possible.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is designed for optimal sound quality with an acoustically treated and tuned room. It features both analog and professional digital processing equipment from renowned brands like Universal Audio and SSL. I use Kali LP and KLH Pro-11 studio monitors for accurate sound reproduction. My gear also includes a Sennheiser MKH 416 microphone and HD 280 Pro headphones. For instruments, I have PRS and Fender guitars, complemented by multiple amps and sims. Additionally, I have a vast library of thousands of samples and impulse responses (IRs) to enhance my productions.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: As a 90's teen, I have a deep love for grungy, heavy music that has significantly shaped my musical journey. However, my inspiration comes from a wide array of genres, including Classic Rock, Metal, Hip Hop, Trap, EDM, Blues and Bluegrass, Jam Bands and even Classical. My diverse musical palette fuels my creativity and allows me to bring a unique perspective to every project I work on.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common type of work I do for my clients involves post-processing in my studio, where I specialize in mixing and mastering songs or entire albums. Additionally, I self produce music, beats and voiceovers, ensuring high-quality and professional results tailored to each client's needs.
