I´m a young mixing engineer and producer from the city of Rosario, Argentina.
I mostly work mixing records and alive concerts. Every job it´s a challenger and I give the best of me in every work.

Interview with Fran Avecilla
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: This last record I´d work, I'm very proud of it. Was a very long and hard process, but it worth it. I learned a lot about it!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I just finish a record from a band called Hummus.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. Simple, because it's what I have, I borned in a digital era. Besides it's easy to go back and fix or change thing.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I´ll work till you be 100% sure.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: As I say before, put details to the mix.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: How do you want to sound? Can you give me three examples? How much time do we have to work?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Just be sure that you know the work of who you're hiring.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My actual setup. I know it very good.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I'm working more seriously for about 5 years now.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don´t fight with the client, be sure that you understand it
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work with differents types of music, and I like it, I learn a lot and some times it´s great to aplicate non conventional mixing techniques to the differents styles of music.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I´am very detailist, so I like to bring details to the mix.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First talk with the client to be sure we understand each other. Then I´ll mix a song and hopefully, be in the right way. If the client like it, finish the work as soon as it possible. If doesn´t, work till the client be happy.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio´s very simple. UAD Apollo Twin Duo, Mac book pro and a pair of Focal CMS65. Some nice microphones too.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: A lot of people! Hard to pick just a few.
