20+ years. Worked with Grammy & Oscar nominated artists. Toured internationally. vladimiraofficial.com | Singer, poet, lyricist, bandleader, composer, songwriter, producer, actress, director, dancer, choreographer, visual artist; mentor. Please, also read the interview at the bottom of this page to learn more about me and my creative process.

DESCRIPTION OF MY CREATIVE PROCESS, MY SERVICES, MY PHILOSOPHY:

• I live in a creative flow.

• I can either be very original as a creator or on the other hand imitate and expand on another artist's style (aka 'ghost writer'). I truly love both.

• I would love to retain rights to what I created for you, but we can also discuss a buyout.

• When submitting your proposal, please, do share a thorough description of your project with me in your first message, the exact description of a role you desire me to take and your budget.

• Since I am an actress as well, I can morph a lot - genre wise, both when it comes to a voice colour as well as a personality required for your song.

• I sing jazz (modern jazz / improvisation); rock, pop, folk; metal; hip hop; French chanson and Argentine tango, Brazilian bossa nova; some type of musical theatre and classical music.

• You can use my name within your project. If I work with you, I love what you create and am gladly a part of it!

• Lastly, I wish you a lot of wonderful creativity and support you deserve at absolutely any stage of your career and artistic evolution.

With my deepest respect,

Vladimira

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I loved singing my own music in a jazz quintet where John Serry Jr was playing the piano - and of course loved singing his music, too! I was 24 and it was amazing.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: My own film and music projects.

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: I love analog, I love its texture.

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: Professionalism, care and fun!

  9. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  10. A: Collaborating and creating with other people and amazing artists. I love to be inspired and surprised by all the creative processes. And I love all the freedom.

  11. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  12. A: They ask me how I am and I reply differently each time. :)

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: That I am too niche!

  15. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  16. A: Do you have any questions? :)

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: Be professional and expect to creatively and humanly expand. :)

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: Hmmm... bikini... sorry... :)

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: I have been singing, dancing and playing instruments since very early childhood, when 15 years old, I decided I wanted to be a professional artist, at 16 entered a Conservatory (Musical and Dramatic Arts), at 18 got my first role in a theatre, at 20 started to sing with a big band, at 21 with a folk music band and also was a member of a dance theatre, at 23 had my own jazz trio, at 24 jazz quartet... and so on... I have always been involved creatively in everything as I am a very involved person. :) I have been mainly performing live, writing, producing, sometimes acting and directing.

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: Quite original and uncompromising.

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: Justin Timberlake because I feel the feel.

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: Simplify.

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: Jazz, hip hop/beatbox, rock, metal, pop, chanson, folk, sometimes punk, contemporary classical and sometimes early music, too. I simply love music.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: I am very quick. I can also be either very original or on the other hand imitate and expand on another artist's style (aka 'ghost writer').

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: My all and the multiverse :)

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: I am open to all the possible input from everyone and then take what I feel wants to be taken and/or I let another / others to take what they feel... it depends on what role I am in.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: Always highly professional. It varies, depending on where I currently am, as I could be travelling.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: I love the people who have produced Britney Spears's music. I love how Larry Klein produced Herbie Hancock's 'River the joni letters'. I deeply love when any classical music piece is produced with super sensitivity.

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  42. A: It truly varies. I guide / produce / inspire a lot. I write and sing. I do all with a deeply human and sensitive approach.
