Trap with Reggae, Hip Hop, RnB, Afrobeat, Slap House and Reggaeton Influences.
Hello! I'm Elias, a music producer and mixing engineer based in Ethiopia, Africa. As much as I love making music, I also love listening to so many types of music. So I try my best to add elements of genres I like into Trap to make it unique. I aim on two things when working on projects. First, every time someone listens to a song for the first time, they get confused enough to be curious about what sounds make the song unique. Second, they hit replay until they've figured it out.
I love working with artists with a clear vision of what they want. I am detail oriented by nature so I do take everything I do seriously. Music for me is a language. Done the right way, an instrumental by itself can tell a story. Add fire vocals with deep lyrics on it and it's done!!!
I not only produce music, but I am also a singer, song-writer and mixing engineer. Because I'm a perfectionist, you can rest assured I am so willing to get involved in any part of your projects at any stage to make it the best it can be.

A: I am working on an EP with 11 tracks at the moment where I am a music producer, mixing engineer, song-writer and lead vocalist.

A: Digital, because it is so much more versatile and I am not quite comfortable with boundaries.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Not only the project, but also the experience you will have with me is going to be the best you have ever had.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The fact that I get to express how I feel without saying a single word.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: "When are you available?" and my answer is whenever you feel like you want to work on the track.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: People hesitate a lot to as me to go the extra mile to make a track sound better. Even though I love getting paid for what I do, I care much more about making something special and amazing.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Are you willing to work on a project with full dedication? And is your goal to make this track the best version that it can be. no matter how many hours it takes? Cause I am.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: You would be surprised by how many talented individuals with unique touches are buried under because they have never worked with major artists.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I don't need more than my computer and a mic to be honest.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been doing music for the past 5 years. I am currently working on my EP. And I hope to meet the best talents this world has to offer through SoundBetter.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Dark but Powerful and Empowering
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Ariana Grande, because of the versatility in the work that she does. I can't think of a topic she hasn't sung about. I want to touch every topic with my music too.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't try too hard to make something great. A hit is always made when you let you feelings and gut take control.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I mostly work on Trap, Hi Hop, RnB, Slap House, Afrobeat, Reggaeton, Dancehall and sometimes Acoustic tracks. You can tell I like challenging myself to push my boundaries.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Communication and Cooperation. I know that I should probably say music theory or mixing drums. But I focus much more on establishing a strong and meaningful connection with my clients. Everything else comes after that.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Well, in simple words, uniqueness! That is what I try to do as much as I can. We all know so many songs mixed so well, produced so well, with great lyrics and amazing vocals, yet there are countless other songs like that. But if you have something unique with strong meaning behind it that has never been raised before, then production and mixing can only add to the already found awesomeness in it.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I typically try to take as much breaks in between my production process and avoid getting too lost in a production to ensure I make music with as much freshness as possible. I naturally can't resist connecting a project with a certain feeling to make it stand out and bring about a certain melancholy in listeners.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Ariana Grande, FINNEAS, Rihanna, Imanbek, Calvin Harris
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Music Production and Song-writing
