Your idea is likely good, but if it’s not edited and mixed well, nobody will see the diamond in the rough. Disney, NBC, Monstercat, Axtone, Revealed, etc.
What separates me is that I started as an artist/producer who had to learn the hard way that an idea is only as good as the mix allows it to be. I’ve made music at a high level for 18 years now, producing and mixing it all myself. The final product is so much a reflection of how well you’ve comped your vocals/instrument takes, what FX you’re using, how muddy the mix is, extensive automation.
I’ve spent years understanding how to get the most out of mixes. Often times we overproduce and over complicate songs due to a poor mix, poor editing, but if you work perfect the fundamentals, you can let every element shine.
