A NON-awarded 15+ years friendly songwriter/producer/mix-engineer, multi-instrumentalist and strings arranger, devoted to make great music from the South of Italy. Proponent of the fast-production methodology, delivering high quality music in short time horizon. Living in the suburbs, far from music industry, I preserve vibrance in making music.

My love story with music is like this; at the age of:
- 3, I stared at the cassette recorder while playing music.
- 6, I learnt keyboards and recorded with my dad's Tascam PortaOne.
- 8, I integrated the PS1 software "Music 2000" to my music environment.
- 10, I switched to computer w\ "Sony Acid PRO 3".
- 12, I learnt guitar / bass and wrote, produced and mixed songs.
- Still doing it.

My work is mainly appreciated by R&B/Soul/Pop/Indie local artists.
I my self am such an artist, under the name of "calmo" as independent singer-songwriter, producer and mix-engineer.
Clients are usually impressed by my attention to detail and my natural quickness in finding fresh ideas, picking various instruments in my room and building a song either from scratch or from a demo.

I like to be stimulated by new people/music and to satisfy clients, offering my experience and suggestions to make their musical project shine.

I hung up university career (I'm PhD in Computer Engineer) to chase my natural vocation: to be a full time music maker.
Not only that, my goal is to make a living with music in my sunny town, near the better-known Sorrento/Amalfi coast, where no music industry exists.
