Interview with Chief Music
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I worked on a few songs for an album that is doing well in spotify and other platforms. Although I was paid for the credits and signed an NDA the artist got signed in a major label and will be soon working with me for another album.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: An EP for an Afrobeat Artist.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Me.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. Digital is always updated.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Customer Satisfaction
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Making a song that will make my client happy.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Why aren't you an artist your writing is very exceptional? I love being in the background of creating not in the limelight.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: songwriters should be musicians since they are behind most hitsongs.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Tell me precisely your wants and expectations of the song to detail. Do you have reference tracks?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be very precise on what you want for the best outcome.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: 1. A knife or matchette- for protection and it would also help in cutting any animal of plant food I find. 2. A 5 litre bottle of water. 3. Lighter or Matches 4. A satelite phone 5. A pan.

A: I started music production and songwriting in 2016 and songwriting; so that's 8 years now.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Club bangers and lyricism. First, I love writing songs that when played people just get up to their feet and dance, and also songs whose lyrics communicate even when keeping up with a rhyme scheme, it simple and comprehensive.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Wizkid. He has been my icon since childhood. His style of writing and singing is different from the rest and so is the production behind his craft. He is a trend-setter and doesn't conform to different waves of commonality either in production or singing.

Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Upon receiving a songwriting or Music Production order 1: 1st brainstorm on the first day, numerous ideas and later in the day do some elimination 2nd day review the idea, settle for one idea, and develop it. 3rd day finalize, mix, master, and deliver the song.
