Composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Creating amazing music is my biggest passion, and I can't wait to help bring your projects and ideas to life!
Hey, my name's Nick and I'm very excited to collaborate with you!
All my life, I've been creating and playing music. Growing up, I played saxophone for 10 years and was surrounded by music at home, constantly playing with keyboards, guitars, and drum machines. I formally began composing music while in college, and have since composed music for short films, videos, and other creative projects.
More than anything, I take great pride in my work and settle for nothing less than the very best I can produce. When you start a project with me, it becomes my sole focus and passion until it's completed at or above your expectations.
Please feel free to contact me for additional audio samples to get an idea of the various types of music I've created -- if you like what you hear, I'd love to work with you and help bring your project to life!

Interview with Nick Fauster
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently, I'm preparing to score a feature-length independent horror film to be released in early 2024. More to come!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Anything I get to work on is not a "job", but a privilege -- you'll receive nothing less from me than the very best I have to offer, no matter the size or scope of your project.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Something I love doing is using very basic/stock sounds while coming up with ideas. If an idea sounds good with the most basic of sounds, it'll sound amazing when you substitute in high-quality sounds and add textures.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I typically like to build the overall structures and melodies of a project first. Once that's done, I hone in on the specific sounds, transitions, mixing, automations, etc.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I produce primarily in FL Studio, as it's the DAW I operate most quickly with. I use a suite of high quality, professional plugins for sound design and mixing/mastering, and my outboard gear is key to creating unique sounds and textures that help my music stand out. Check out my full list of gear if you're interested!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Some of my biggest inspirations include Joe Hisaishi, John Williams, Danny Elfman, Nobuo Uematsu, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Daft Punk, Justice, Chad Hugo, Hans Zimmer, and all musicians who are dedicated to the art!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work I do ranges from creating entire songs from scratch to creating specific sections the client requests to help complete a track they have. Some examples include taking a concept/rough demo from a client and turning it into a full production, creating an entire beat from scratch for a client based on their desired sound/vibe, and creating an orchestral composition to set the theme for a short film.
