Shando Beats

Hip-Hop Music Producer

Shando Beats on SoundBetter

Lex Luger, Vinny Deleon, 808 Mafia, LX Xander, and Big Klit are a few of the artists I'm working with or worked with this year. And recently I started working permanently with Chinoraw Beatz (Lil Durk) on some projects. One of my greatest accomplishments as a producer are the collaborations with Lex Luger that i'm working on at the moment.

I'm Sandro Vidal AKA Shando Beats and I'm originally from Belgium Ghent, residing in Bequia and frequently flying to the States. I produce Hip-Hop Beats and all sub-genres and I specialize in producing trap beats and Mixing beats/vocals for rappers and singers. Hire me for exclusive/custom beats and/or mixing and master services.

As a young upcoming producer, I had the chance to work with some industry professionals who happen to be my idols! (check credits)
Some of them in real life and some from a distance, I have embraced all these experiences and acquired a great skill set from doing so. Over time I started developing my own "Sauce" as producers call it.
This creates the unique Shando Beats sound that I keep on perfecting until this day and this is why my clients keep on returning.

I speak English, Spanish, French & Dutch so I'm easy to communicate with and I deliver always on time as this is my full-time job. People like to work with me because I respect and understand their deadlines and their ideas.
I can adjust very fast to their personalities allowing me to get to know what they exactly expect from me and my services. which allows me to deliver them the perfect dynamic, punchy mix that highlights the best of the song!

Interview with Shando Beats

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: I'm working on multiple projects with Lex Luger and Multiple projects with Chinoraw.

  3. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  4. A: So far Digital it sounds great and is not so different. But recently I've been working with a lot of Tegeler equipment and I must say I love the Nerdy feel of it some of the gear is even half digital and half analog so it remembers your set-up and the buttons move automatically. And that's why we invested in a lot of Tegeler gear that we haven't unboxed yet but I'm very hungry to use it when our studio build is done.

  5. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  6. A: The Song and Client always come first! Therefore I promise on-time delivery and unlimited revisions with a 48h time frame between each revision.

  7. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  8. A: I love it when someone tells me "I taught that my song before you mixed it couldn't improve anymore. I can't tell what you did but it is exactly as wanted it!" This gives me so much joy and motivation!

  9. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  10. A: Just follow your intuition and instinct I have the impression that all premium members are well verified by the SoundBetter Team.

  11. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  12. A: Funny Question because I live on a small island with multiple deserted islands around me. I Would take my computer, KRK V8 Series, HeadPhones, My SSL+2 Interface, and some w**d.

  13. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  14. A: I used to work for a Butcher inside a supermarket until I teamed up with my associate at the beginning of Covid. We have been working on my producer career every day for the last 3 years and with success. Recently we started building our professional recording studio fully equipped with top-notch gear. (Check Studio Set-Up) In the last months, I've reached my first 4 placements, 1 is released (Venom of God by Big Klit) and 3 more are on the way from different artists. A lot of clients return and new clients have been contacting me for beats and their mix. I get noticed by industry professionals and keep on investing all my time, energy, and profits in my career. I see myself growing each day and spending more and more time in de states.

  15. Q: How would you describe your style?

  16. A: Passionate about what I do, Open minded, and calm until I get to cook up!

  17. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  18. A: I would love to work with Travis Scott and Future because I feel my style is closest to them.

  19. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  20. A: I'll Give 3 tips. -As a beat-maker when your making a Hip-Hop or any sub-genre beat leave enough space for the artist on the beat, its not about how complicated or crazy your beat is its about how much potential it could give to an artist his lyrics so less could be more in some cases. -When you walk into a studio as a producer don't try to be the loudest or coolest in the room but bring value to the session and act professional you never know who's in the room. -Try to record your track/Stems without any effects this allows the mixing engineer to do way more with your mix.

  21. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  22. A: Hip-Hop, Trap, Drill, Afro and Dancehall

  23. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  24. A: My strongest skill is Producing and Mixing.

  25. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  26. A: I bring my Shando Beats Energy in a digital way and my unique "Sauce" as the producer community says. My Punchy but subtle mixing will sound crystal clear and will bring out the best of the song.

  27. Q: What's your typical work process?

  28. A: I try to get into the head of the client even if we work from a distance to know their expectations. Some want a mix exactly as the example they've sent, Some even don't send an example and like to just let me do my thing. I can work either way I put the song always in the first place.

  29. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  30. A: For now, I work out of my improvised temporary home studio with my mac book pro, SSL+2 interface and KRK V8S4 monitors. With many plug-ins and VSTs that I've bought over the years. But I'm moving soon to my professional recording studio which is now under construction. And with that, I invested in some of my favorite analog gear that I've worked with over the years such as a Warm Audio Pre-Amp, AKG C414XLll mic, MOTU 8m AVB interface, Tegeler Audio Manufaktur Crème RC, Tegeler Audio Manufaktur VL 500 Vocal Leveler, Tegeler Audio Manufaktur Raumzeitmaschine, Tegeler Audio Manufaktur Schwerkraftmaschine. They're waiting to be unboxed in my new studio!

  31. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  32. A: Lex Luger, Southside, Vinny Deleon, Zwangere Guy, B.I.A, Lil Durk, Nina Simone, OG Parker, Nardo Wick, Mozart, Bach, Puccini it all depends on my mood.

  33. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  34. A: Remote mix and master services and custom-beats.
