Icon Collective alumnus, with over a decade-and-a-half spent honing his unique sound (as a futile effort to no longer have to wake up and go to work, surely).
I utilize highly advanced methods and techniques for mixing and mastering a wide array of genres, from soft and dynamic, to competitively loud and aggressive. Obsessive precision you can hear and feel in every element. I use outboard effects such as compressors, limiters, equalizers, etc., alongside the best of the best production softwares to meticulously hone the sound of every individual element of a song (sometimes only just before it gets brickwalled, per artist preference. I make sure that the flattening is done tastefully, I assure you. Most "loud" masters end up sitting comfortably between -9 and -6 LUFS without distortion and while retaining the "oomph")
For those that are not aware of the regulations around loudness, most streaming platforms normalize all songs to about -14LUFS, however it is still standard practice for mastering engineers to pass this level, since downloaded audio which is not streamed still retains the original, unnormalized gain profile. Since this is the case, many prefer that the finished tracks are competitive in this regard.
