Audio Engineer specialised in Pop, R&B, Rock and Hip-Hop, available to help bring your songs to the next level.
I've been involved in music for the last 15 years. Started as a guitar player and 10 years ago became more interested in leaning about the process since creating a song from scratch to the final stage of releasing music to the public.
From 2015 to 2017 I attended several workshops about music composition and production and by the end of 2017 I finished my BTEC Level 5 in Music. In 2018 I have graduated in Popular Music Production.
I´ve been working in the industry ever since as and audio engineer and music producer.
I would love to be a part of your next song! Let's work together!

Interview with Diogo Nabais
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Guitar, audio interface, computer with a DAW installed, one microphone and a pair of Headphones.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Rest your ears
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop Music
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I am pretty fast at discovering and solving problems that can ruin a mix.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: The best I can do
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First I ask my clients what they want me to bring to their songs and for them to give me some music references that they think are similar to the kind of sound they want to achieve. Then I start a top-down mixing and finally when the track sounds balanced I go from track to track our group to group and see what can be improved in order for the song to sound as good as possible.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I own a music studio that is mainly used for composing and producing that simply has a focusrite 18i20 and a pair of Adam T7V but I usually work on my mixes at a comercial studio that has a pair of ATC monitors and a pair of Yamaha H8S, lots of outboard gear and is perfectly treated in terms of acoustics.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Colt Capperrune
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do mixing and mastering most of the time. I also work a lot with audio post production for video.
