Benjamin Marks is a record producer, mixer and sound engineer based at Quay West Studios, England. Ben has assisted and engineered for some of the best producers in rock, including Tom Dalgety (Royal Blood, Band Of Skulls, The Pixies), Lewis Johns (Funeral For A Friend, Gnarwolves), and Neil Kennedy (Creeper, Boston Manor).

Interview with Benjamin Marks
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I mix in my studio space in Southampton, England, using a hybrid of incredible software and classic vintage hardware. My software collection includes Melodyne Studio 4, Waves Mercury, a vast array of UAD, Slate Digital Everything, Kush Everything, Plugin Alliance, Brainworx and many many more. My hardware collection includes classics from Teletronix, Universal Audio, a Studer vintage tape machine, API EQ's and compressors and a Neve summing mixer.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: As a big fan of music in general I have a very wide ranging portfolio, from indie rock bangers to beautiful singer/songwriter tracks and almost anything in between.
