Marissa Detlor, the RnB/Pop artist who's pipes have landed her TV placements and a spot on both RnB & Pop music charts, is ready to take your song to the next level.
I first started in music by performing at various venues across New York and Connecticut by the age of 12. I won 1st place in 6 regional competitions, the biggest being "Can U Sing USA". My first major steps as a recording artist were when I released my debut EP, “Self Made". The album launched at #9 for pop albums & #50 for all genres on the iTunes Charts upon release. Two records off of the album were placed in episode 4 of the Hulu TV Show "Shrill".
Following my debut album, I released a single "Bad", that charted at #18 on the Napster charts and 7 other singles and a full length album that has accumulated over a quarter of a million total streams on Spotify.
I've worked with Tommy Brown (Ariana Grande's Producer "7 Rings"), Mikey "Bluebird" Foster (of "Social House") Viktoria Hansen (Songwriter -Alicia Keys, Macy Gray), and Reggae superstar Shaggy ("It Wasn't Me, "Angel").
My main genre is Pop/RnB style but I can sing and write in many other styles and can cater to you and your projects needs. I have my own music studio in New York where I record all my music. Let's work together and create your masterpiece!
