Luiz Fernando Silva Alcântara (WALF) was born on March 27, 1998 (age 24), in the city of Pouso Alegre, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He started producing songs 6 years ago, but only in 2021 he started releasing songs under the name WALF, he had releases on labels such as Ghetto Records and Gloamed, he has already reached 1m streams on his Spotify profile.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Powered DJs, because, I saw how much people are listening to his musics, I mixed and mastered a bunch of his songs.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working as a Ghost producer and mix&master engineer.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I don't know anyone that work with soundbetter
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, Because I can work more efficient and quick.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will do my best to gave you the best track possible.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Be able to produce songs for the people and make them happy.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How much time the song will be finished, and I answer that the song can take between 2 or 3 days to be finished.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Usually, they want a song to sound exactly like the references, but this is not possible.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I ask for reference musics to know more about the client music taste, knowing that, I can make the song that my client is looking for.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Trust the years of experience, we know how to make a good song

A: A Notebook, Headphones, electric generator, coffee machine and a CDJ

A: I'm being a producer and DJ for 8 years.

A: Nostalgic and Emotional with a nice groovy.

A: KSHMR, Porter Robinson and Skrillex, Because for me, they are the best producers in the world and I think I can learn a lot of things working with them.

A: Use less elements as possible in your musics, less is more.

A: Deep House, Tech House, Melodic techno and Afro house

A: Professional arrangement with a catchy idea, mix and master
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start every song making the drums and bass line, after that, a make the leads and breaks, then I search for a catchy vocal to put in the track.
