Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: word music, fork song
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: vocal and arrangement
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I'm expert in the especial Chinese elements such as Chinese fork song, national minority singing, Chinese opera enrolling in the music. I compose for either commercial or personal based on the individuation . I can compose and sing the harmony for free. All the section(string, tube, beat, guitar, ect) can be arranged at once.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Get the inspiration or motivation from the clients, then chat for the framework of the composition. Post the budget of the work. Write lyrics / Compose / Arrange/ Demonstrate and send it to the clients for checking. Give three times amending opportunity. Finally send the mix version.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Telepfunken(AK47,Germany) and Bluebird Microphone (Babybottle, USA) to collect different style of vocal. The SSL microphone amplifiers (Super Analog, UK) The Adam (S3xh, Germany). with a volume of 175 m^3 and the reverberation time is about 0.3 second. The recording room (about 5.3 × 3.2 × 2.6 m) and the control room (about 8.6× 3.2 × 2.6 m) were divided by three layers of transparent acoustic glasses (2000mm×1200mm, Rw=45 dB).
