Tomás Coppoletta
I am 21, making my first steps in the industry. Learning, discovering, and growing. I have little experience, but you can be sure that I'd put all my effort and knowledge into every single task and that I would improve my work from each observation that you could make. Every project is a personal adventure that I want to face with responsibility.
Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.
Interview with Tomás Coppoletta
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That is just a machine-like work with repetitions. Each material and each production is different so I treat them as they are.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Latin popular music
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I believe that for each problem there is more than one solution. Lateral thinking is my strongest skill.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Actually, I think that I don't bring anything that wasn't already in the song. My goal is to take out what is not needed and give back problem-free material.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Understand the objective of the production, the intention, and the key aspects of the material. Write down my first impression: what is needed? what is extra? which things are causing problems? how can I solve future headaches? Solve some basic issues and then start fixing the main problems in a clean and simple way. The result is a natural, organic, and clear sound.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do audio recording, editing, and mixing for classical and popular music as well as podcast productions.
