A: Yes, Malachi Mott. Music Producer and Creativity Coach

A: Analog. I like to hear the clock tick tick
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: We will have a lot of fun creating and bringing your songs to life!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love helping others bring their music to life! I love the experience of collaborating! We can do so much more together than alone. I also love creating and singing different styles of music!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Them: "Wow! Why aren't you famous?" Me: Clark Kent kept his day job too!

A: What is your prospective release date? Where will this music be played?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If you have a specific vision for your song, be as detailed as possible! I don't mind long messages or even calls. I am here to bring you the best quality creation that YOU are happy with and proud of!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I would bring a knife, to hopefully cut juice from a cactus to stay alive! Then, a piano, recorder, pen and notebook. Wow. That would be so productive!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been a professional singer/songwriter for over 15 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is powerful and honest. Sometime I create fun, whimsical, edgy pop anthems! Sometimes, I create soulful, vulnerable songs. My style evokes emotion for whatever the mission of the song is.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Ed Sheeran! He's such a masterful songwriter. His ability to create simple, catchy yet meaningful music is inspiring. His music will stand the test of time
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: SPACE. Space is as much of an instrument as any other sound. Invite the listener to participate (sing, dance, chant) in the song via space, and they will feel the song is part of them, and they are part of the song... Because you gave them space to be.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, R&B, Soul, Hip Hop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Pop, R&B, Soul Vocals. Songwriting Pop, upbeat and Ballads
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: As a graduate of 1500 Sound Academy, with over 15 years experience as a professional singer and songwriter, and experience entertaining internationally, I implement the awareness that music is a language to be FELT no matter the listener's native tongue. When creating, my goal is always "How can we make people feel they are understood through this music?" Honesty always wins. I have honed my skills for decades, to be vulnerable in music.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When creating (songwriting, melody) I relax and emerge myself with the track. I freestyle record record into my studio set up and let the lyrics and melodies flow. I repeat this process 3-6 times and usually have recorded the concept, main melodies and skeleton lyrics. I comp the recorded vocals, selecting the more "hooky" parts and complete the song.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: In addition to my access to a profession studio, I have home studio equips with an AKG P420 microphone, MacBook Pro 2019, Scarlett Interface, Piano, Guitar, Multiple voice plug ins to add effects and dynamic to voice.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am a graduate of 1500 Sound Academy, Los Angelos, Founded and mentored by Grammy Award Winning Producers/Song Writers, Rance Dopson and James Fauntleyroy. I am mainly inspired by their creations for Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Beyonce, and H.E.R.
