Interview with Nicholas Massa
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Thanks to my musical knowledge and experience in so many different genres and settings, I am proud to say that my musical input has been used to benefit a wide array of artists. I believe that I bring a depth of knowledge to each song I work on, whether it's relating to arrangement, engineering, sound design, etc.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is located in my home, which has allowed for maximum flexibility in tackling many projects at once. My computer is custom built by hand, includes 4 independent cores capable of 32 gb's of RAM, and can run both MacOS as well as Windows 10. My main DAW of choice is Logic Pro X
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The majority of the work I do for clients relates to audio engineering (mixing/mastering) as well as creative collaboration. Typically, an artist will approach me with an unfinished track and I will fill in the pieces based on their individual goals.
