Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I am proud of producing some Slovakian interprets that won numerous national competitions. In worldwide aspect I am proud of cooperating with SoundOnSound magazine and create some orchestral renditions for their articles about orchestration. Fianlly, I am prud to cooperate with mighty Vienna Symphonic Library and create walkthoughs for their projects.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Now I am working on my solo album that will be solely in Funk genre and will bring some new and fresh air into this style...
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: There is numerous artists I worked with here but one of the best is 305 Horns. This is prototype of my client - professional, outstanting musicality, great communication.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: - Deadlines will be met! - I will delivery top notch interpretations and sonic quality - My communication will be always productive
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like that my work can lift the final production of good music and client is satisfied. Making the music is the most important thing in my life.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Most of the time the clients asks for deadlines. And this is relevant questions as for freelancer the meeting of deadlines is one of the most important things. My answer? Let me know the deadline and you can be 100% sure I will meet it! Second, the clients asks for gear that will be used from my side. I am explaining whole process to them and incorporate all the gear I am using.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That bad produced, arranged and recorded material can sound brilliant...
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: In songwriting area, I need to now ideas, concerns, goals of the project. What instruments and instrumentations client wants or if I can show him my point of view. In mixing area - there are various question about recording process of tracks, what is the sonic goal for client, what is important for him in all the instruments that will be mixed. And in mastering process, again the idea of client is very important, but here I really want to show my skills...
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: To be professional in communication, this is where all the magic begins and ends. No matter how good is your project, always be kind and responsive.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Modeling microphone from Antelope, Apogee Symphony, good speakers, Roland JDXA synth, TalkBox
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 20+ years of experience. Starting with studying music {piano player} and then going to explore the sound engineering and production area od music creation process. All those areas are very important for me, so I decided to reach associate professor degree in music and constantly learning till these days. Past few years my attention is focusing on hard studio work in all main areas.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My musical style is focusing on catching the emotion and feeling right away. Every element in my compositions has to be iconic and rememberable. In the tradition of less is more. But that less needs to be top notch - whitchever area I am working in - songwriting, mixing or mastering. The project is only that good as the weakest point in it....
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I always want to work with artists, that has vision and originality. The more professional and music educated the artis is, the better cooperation. This is what I learned in my career.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: In recent years I was working on R&B and POP as main genres. But few years ago, I created various walkthrough for Vienna Symphonic Library developer in orchestral and cinematic genres. My main and personal preference is FUNK music, which I am composing, producing, mixing and mastering for more than decade.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Complex music skills across various genres, sound engineering hearing skills approved by SoundGym certification.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My vast musical experience allows me to bring new and fresh music ideas in songwriting, often inspired by different genres. Clients are always shocked that their songs can be pushed to different quality level, I like that 😏
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First a most important is talking about client´s vision and goals. Then I will become familiar with ideas / audio tracks and sketch a few musical sequences. After reviewinf by client, I will tweak those ideas to client´s requirements until 100% satisfactory. The same process is valis for songwritinf, mixing and mastering process.

A: Hybrid because of the flexibility.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I am working in hybrid studio setup in the room that has professionally made acoustics environment and listening through Prodipe Pro Ribbon and Auratone spekers. Analog chain is created by Drawmer 1978, Focusrite Liquid 56, Antelope Discrete and Apogee Symphony. In digital domain I am working with a lot of Plugin Alliance and TC Electronics plugins. For mastering I am using Weiss DS1 MK3 bundle. In songwriting are I am using mostly analog synths and few virtual instruments that has that analog feel edge. For orchestrations I am using Vienna Symphonic Library bundles and BBC Orchestra.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am hugely inspired by funk era of 70's but also by modern electro/funk. From the production side - there are a few names that inspired me most - from the ling name list these two are my top favourites: Quincy Jones, Prince
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: My work spans in various areas from songwriting or song parts writing upon specific requests. In mixing and mastering area I am working in hybrid studio setup and can bring the analog feel to client's recorded material. the mastering process focuses on polishing the audio material to be competitive with modern sound. Apple Digital Masters certification is standard.
