I can mix your music in a large variety of styles: electronic dance music (house, techno, trance, psytrance, hip hop, ambient, ...) or instrumental genres (pop, rock, acoustic, ...). I am passionate about getting creative and top sounding musical products. I can also suggest arrangments and overdubs.

I mainly do creative mixing engineering. That's what I do best.

I also produce, create and mix whole tracks.

I can also record vocals and instruments (not drums) at my studio or refer you to other recording studios in the region.

Interview with Alexandre Cagli

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am producing an organic house EP and an ambient album.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Any seasoned professinal mixing engineer really, so I can continue learning from them!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Do not overdo it. Less is more. Focus on only the strongest sounds of your production and get rid of whatever is masking or distracting from it. You should put your effort in making the focal points sound better and more interesting instead.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Electronic dance music
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Creativity, patience and dedication.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a song to life by focusing on the main interest and giving movement and interest to the parts.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have an acoustically treated room where I do the mixing and recording of vocals or small instruments if needed. In another room, I have a modular system and four synths and a mixing desk with a PA in order to create sounds and sketch ideas.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am impressed by really good sounding records. I am amazed by the classic work of Peter Gabriel or Nigel Godrich, Trevor Horn or Youth, to name just a few.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mainly receive recorded stems from my clients with a quick note about general directions they're after for the mix. I then open them in my DAW and apply my magic accordingly.
