I've had my songwriting featured in Grammy U and ASCAP Writers showcases, film, and on various independent albums. I'm a proud recipient of a Student Downbeat Award for Best Jazz Vocals and a BA in Songwriting from Belmont University. Let's create something cool!

Songwriting (Lyric): Theme/topic can be specified by you or I can come up with something. Lyric only.

Songwriting (Melody): let me know if you have a key preference. I will send you a guitar and vocal demo along with a chord sheet. Vocals will be non-lyrical.

Top line: vocal melody over your track

~Recording Services~
Vocals: I will record and send raw vocals (lead vocals, harmonies, backing vocals)

Acoustic Guitar: please specify steel string or nylon and if you need a doubled track:) been playing guitar for 10 years, classically trained

Vocal comping: I will comp pre-existing vocal tracks using Logic Pro X.

Vocal Tuning: I will tune pre-existing vocal track using Melodyne

Interview with Abigayle Kompst

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I had the opportunity to write and co-produce 5 songs for a feature film "Love is Life" directed by Jon Lee that was distributed on Amazon Prime Video. This was such a rewarding process, because I love writing with prompts and receiving notes to create the perfect song for the perfect cinematic moment (or track!)

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Releasing my debut EP -- Vegas (named after my hometown:)) Top lining tracks for awesome producers Writing with artists in Nashville multiple times a week

  5. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  6. A: I have been singing forever and writing since I can remember. Moved to Nashville to study songwriting at Belmont University. Now I write multiple times a week with up and coming artists, top line tracks, and play my own music in the city at night:)

  7. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  8. A: Storytelling lyrics, catchy melodies, and an emotional performance
