I am an independent mix engineer and music producer based in Cardiff. With an MSc in Music Engineering and Production, 10 years experience as an artist and producer, and specialising in rock, punk, and folk, whatever your project I can help realise your vision. I have worked with several up and coming acts in the local scene.

Every musical act has a unique sound. Whether it comes from your voice, your lyricism, or even the crappy guitar you’ve been using since you were a teenager, you’ve got something that no one else has.

I am an independent mix engineer and music producer based in Cardiff. When I’m producing a record, the most important thing for me is to take what is unique about you and make sure people get to hear it. It’s one thing to sound like your favourite artist, but it’s quite another to have a sound all your own.

I have an MSc in Music Engineering and Production, as well as 10 years experience doing sound tech. I specialise in mixing either folk or punk - anything that prizes an authenticity and feeling over an overly polished sound, but I also love working on more polished and powerful sounding mixes.

In addition to being a mix engineer, I also work as a film composer and songwriter. I am comfortable playing a wide variety of instruments and composing in a variety of styles.

I worked with Ben on a project I was a part of called Scissorkick Victory. He was an absolutely pleasure to work with and spend time with. Personable, professional, warm and in possession of an excellent ear. He was able to realise our ideas into something we were delighted with.

Ben was with us from start to finish, from ideas phase to the streaming service upload. His mixes still stand up today and are bright and lively.
