Mandla Lee Ndlovu (born 19 September 2001), better known as "Tylee Purpgod", is a South African Hip-Hop Rapper, Songwriter, and Animator. Born and raised in Phalaborwa, South Africa, he started rapping at the age of 15. He released his debut EP Tyanarchy (2022) while studying in the University of the Free State.

The young musician was exposed to his love for music at an early age with the help of his guitarist father. Growing up in Phalaborwa, South Africa, he was surrounded by different genres [old and new school], which nurtured him into the multi-genre artist he is today. Tylee isn’t just a rapper, singer, songwriter, animator, or producer, he is an alien with an out-of-this-world vibe seen in not only the multi-genre sound but the evergrowing skills he possesses. Animating started with his love for drawing, which evolved into digital drawings, and eventually, he found his way into the animation world. Over time he found a way to combine animating and music-making to create a unique image for himself.
