  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I collaborated with a gal from Ireland (Aoife O'Leary) on a brief for sync calling for attitude pop. I produced the entire song and she added brilliant top lined vocals. We will start pitching the song soon.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I just finished producing two of my own songs and I am collaborating with two fellow songwriters on two different songs.

  5. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  6. A: I will listen. I will communicate. I'll do my absolute best to bring the vision of your song to life.

  7. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  8. A: When can you have this ready for me? What if I don't like it?

  9. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  10. A: that it's easy!

  12. A: What is your vision? Do you have a deadline? What's your budget? How can I help you?

  13. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  15. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  16. A: I am a performing artist/songwriter. I started producing my own music about 10 years ago under the mentorship of local producer Chuck Mauk at The Happy Hands Club Studio and of late Kris Bradley.

  17. Q: How would you describe your style?

  18. A: I have a classic rock upbringing. I love all styles of music...but as an artist I've been described as Pop-Americana, country

  19. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  20. A: Americana, country, pop rock.

  21. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  22. A: Songwriting, lead vocals and production are my strongest skills. What I cannot add to your production I will turn to an array of talented musicians on my roster to complete your vision.

  23. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  24. A: I will hopefully, fulfill your vision of your song with the best vocal or full production you've ever heard.

  25. Q: What's your typical work process?

  26. A: If I am producing your song, I will start with your basic acoustic guitar/piano track and scratch vocals. Talk with you about your vision for the song. Then it's off to the races, choosing the right instruments and laying down the tracks. Add vocals. Communicating with you every step of the way.

  27. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  28. A: I can provide vocals, custom songwriting and full production for my clients.

  29. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  30. A: I love the process of creating something new and hopefully unique.

  31. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  32. A: Be precise in what you're looking for. Communicate! Don't be shy about your needs.

  33. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  34. A: I want to work with any passionate artist that wants to put themselves out there for the world to see.

  35. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  36. A: Listen to your client.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: I work from a small home studio. I use a Mac computer with Logic Pro X as my DAW. My favorite vocal mic is the Shure SM7B and the Slate M1 modeling microphone. I use state of the art plugins for vocal processing. I have my favorite musicians I work remotely and live with if you'd like a fully produced song.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: I am inspired by musicians young and old. I admire Shawn Colvin, John Mayer, Jason Mraz for their unique writing skills.
