TESHAN started his music career as a rhythm guitar player in college and he started to produce electronic music when he was in 17 years old after he joined to Pearlbay Institute study more about audio engineering and music technology. In 2021, he has successfully done the foundation with a merit grade, and now he is a student of Higher National Certificate in Music Technology first batch in Pearlbay Institute.
He already got attention from his lectures/top audio engineers and music producers in Sri Lanka and they highly recommend his creative music producing and audio mixing skills.
And he is the founder & producer of the duo "Mophyne", one of the best upcoming music duos in Sri Lanka based on Asian/pop and electronic/pop music.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Travel-based music producer and mixer so I've types of equipment only can use for travel I'm hiring studio locations for production, mixing and mastering. 1.SSL 2+ 2.Beyerdynamic Dt990 Pro 3.Nektar lx 25+ 4.Mackbook pro m1 with Protools and Logic Pro x
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: For the Mixing - Locally inspired by Leen Muthukuda and Ranga Dasanayake, the best two mixing engineers in Sri Lanka with tons of knowledge and experience in the industry and humble as always, also I'm proud to be a student of them. For producing - I'm inspired by Martin garrix from the age of 17 and I'm still hardly following his music production techniques and how he promotes himself as a DJ/Producer.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Thiloka Wickramagalle - She has a delicate and emotional vocal tone that few singers have and she can perfectly get the emotions of the song and present it. She is a quite humble artist to work with. Romaine Willis - She has a unique vocal tone and a better pitch range with dynamic control of her voice. J!nna - favorite music producer in Sri Lanka because he has a unique color of tones and energy in his music.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always come up with a signature so people know it is your music then they forget your name.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Electronic/pop, Asian Electronic, RnB and PsyTrance
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Creative thinking and experimenting with new sounds and plugins.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: As a mixer - First I'm listening and ask about what kind of tone and emotion that artist or producer really wants in their song and if they give any suggestions and references I will direct go through it by adding my own creative skills and before a mix, I've some several songs to listen to calm my mind and it helps bring up my all skills and ideas. As a Producer - I'm researching more about the concept of the song and the artist/singers' music taste. Most of my originals started with a track and I put a melody by humming on it and then give the music piece to a lyricist with my ideas and concept of the song.
