My expertise is in ethereal background vocal arrangement. Primarily a vocalist, I perform Pop, EDM, Soul, RnB, Classical, Opera and Indie styles. You can find my original music on Spotify under Jordan Whitlock. I have sung vocals for Latroit, Lifehouse and BBC and have written/recorded vocals for TV pitches with Hipgnosis.
Background Vocal Arrangement:
I specialize in ethereal, choral sounding background vocals.
I arrange and write vocals for commercials, tv/film, and orchestral pieces, and genres such as RnB, Pop, Indie, and Soul.
Singing/Songwriting:
I am a session singer songwriter for hire. I can record your pre-written vocal line, or assist you in writing a melody line/lyric.
*Please note that all vocals are ghost vocals unless otherwise agreed upon.*
*Half of payment required upfront/half upon completion. No refunds on first half once the job has begun.

Interview with Jordan Whitlock
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to pay close attention to detail in your instructions to get the exact sound you are looking for. I can sing in various vocal styles, so if you communicate what sound you are wanting, I will make sure you are happy with the final outcome!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I grew up in a musical family, so I've been singing since before I could talk and writing music from the age of 8! I enjoy the writing and recording process the most, so I'd love to continue writing and releasing my own projects while writing for other artists, TV, commercials and film.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I add emotion to every song I sing on and put my own sound to it (if desired) to bring the song life. My vocals don't need tuning and I excel in writing harmony and background vocal lines, so I am able to complete a project exceptionally fast.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I am working with an AKG P120 microphone, a set of 2 JBL speakers, and Ableton.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I am a lead vocalist for hire. I write and improvise melody lines and arrange background vocals to create more ambiance and dynamic.
