Bilingual English-Spanish vocalist, topliner and songwriter delivering expressive pop, R&B, soul and Latin vocals, memorable melodies, harmonies and vocal arrangements. I’m a mezzo-soprano recording artist with a G3–F6 range and experience in lead vocals, background vocals, a cappella, live performance and original songwriting.

I’m Steph Mercado, a bilingual singer-songwriter and recording artist based in the DMV. My own music blends pop, soul, R&B and Latin influences, with an emphasis on expressive vocals, strong melodic hooks and emotionally honest storytelling.

I love helping songs find their vocal identity. Depending on the project, I can provide lead vocals, harmonies/background vocals, topline melodies, lyrics and vocal arrangement. I’m especially comfortable taking an instrumental or partially developed song and exploring the melody, phrasing and emotional direction that bring it to life.

I’ve performed throughout the DMV as a solo artist and band vocalist and have experience arranging and recording my own layered vocals and harmonies for released music. I sing professionally in both English and Spanish.
