Dominic Delore is an audio engineer and contemporary composer. He has earned a Bachelor of Music in Film Scoring with a minor in Video Game Music from Berklee College of Music.

When not working on audio mastering and scoring projects, Dominic composes, does photography, and produces other artists’ work.

  2. A: Depends on the project and what is needed. There are no bad tools or bad gear. What matters is choosing the right gear for the right moment.

  6. A: That what I do is magic or some gate kept secret. Anyone can learn how to master audio, and I am more than happy to teach and give lessons.

  8. A: Why should you work with a mastering engineer? Your music is a reflection of you as an artist. It is authentic and distinct. The master should reflect this! If you entrust the final phase to AI and automated websites, how do you ensure it won't undermine or distort your artistic vision? When you work with me, you'll stay as informed as you desire. Every decision can be openly communicated. Transparency is key here. A mastering engineer can elevate the mix to bring out the best of what’s there. A mastering engineer can remove unwanted artifacts, clicks, and other disturbances left over from the mix. Ensuring correct track start and stop times in addition to; Cohesiveness for collections of songs for an artist. Correct loudness for various formats. Smooth crossfades between songs for EPs and LPs for seamless transitions. Get your master certified as an Apple Digital Master for Apple Music. (Formerly Mastered for iTunes). Writing metadata to files.
