Remote Mixing + Guitar

Geva Shinar on SoundBetter

I am a session guitarist, specializing in creative harmony and sonically rich "guitar candy". I mix songs for college students and experienced musicians who are often impressed by my ability to "fatten" up a rather thin-sounding track. In 2015, session master Brent Mason commented "Unbelievably Good" on my recording.

I have studied guitar formally and independently since age six, playing with live bands since age nine. This quickly led to local studio experience, recording guitar for friends in Atlanta, and successfully selling CD's in elementary school. During my school-years of playing with rock groups and jazz ensembles as well as singer/songwriters and country artists who needed tracks, I developed my own style guitar-playing with a specialty in textural playing to fill up each song.
As a kid, I read books and purchased courses on the art of mixing. I have worked on hundreds of projects, including dozens of completely self-made full-band recordings and mixes.
My strength lies in filling spaces creatively. I use the guitar to subtly enhance a track, and I fatten up a song with my remote mixing services.
Background education also includes Berklee College of Music and the youth programs at Georgia State University.

Geva really committed himself to this job and the result was superb. He was very prepared and creative, and knew exactly what we wanted. He has a very nice touch on the guitar. My highest recommendations.
