Interview with Phil Bell
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will always meet the deadline and the objective.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: After graduating from Leeds University with a BA honors in Jazz, I worked for two years as the Musical Director on Holland America Cruise lines. I then moved to Vancouver and have been performing in a number of bands, working as a local session musician, and recording in local studios. I have also worked in film and in advertising. Lately, I have been primarily working in the country circuit and was recently nominated for four BCCMA awards.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Steve Jordan because he is an outstanding musician and producer.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Be on time and deliver to the deadline.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Country, Pop and Jazz
