Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of the time the artists or labels call me when they need me to write or produce song in every kind of style....that's my spéciality :very adaptive.I'm also a "gost singer" for commercials and stuff like that
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: a few years ago I composed for Johnny Hallyday who is a god in France and my titles were mixed by Bob Clearmountain who is my absolute idol

A: Remix and reproduce french songs from the 60' So cool !
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: both of course! nothing better than my Trident preamp and eq ..... nothing better than Cubase and Melodyne
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: music is like love you can't promise anything before you try ! sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.But what I can say is that I give myself 100% if I start playing the game
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: every morning I arrive at the studio it's a gift. I love sitting on the drums in the morning and turning off the computer in the evening....the day has passed in a second. I like to be in communion with other creative minds

A: clients often ask me what stars are like in real life? My answer is that we must keep the mystery
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: people who aren't in the business think it's easy....ohhhhhh nooooooo!

A: Cubase, blue bottle mic, my black Telecaster, my 3 kids :)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started at the age of 20 at the studio de la grande armee (one of the greatest european studios) as assistant then sound engineer.After that I became a composer-producer at sony atv for more than 20 years.....strangely i'm still 22 years old
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: to be honest I don't have a particular style, what I like above all is to serve the song whatever the aesthetic
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I had the chance to work with my greatest hero Bob Clearmontain.He mixed many of my songs.i would love to work with sheryl crow she is a great melodist
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Start with a free spirit, keep a teenager attitude... I want to feel like I'm discovering delay and flanger for the first time.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I'm into trailer music for video games and I write songs for the main French artists

A: Creative,enregic,very versatile easy to work with
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: i try to make it better :)) I'm trying to find a way to make the song make your heart beat.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: either I start a song from scratch or people send me material and I work around it.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: my studio is my lair,Everything is ready to play with....to keep the inspiration.I work with Cubase on PC.Using in the box gear and stil love analog stuff particularly my old Trident console (fantastic eq and préamp)
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: From Sheryl Crow to Daft-punk via Pavement and Meshuggah. Not a question of style, just a question of feeling and energy
