I know indie/bedroom pop, so if thats your scene then I'm right for you. With a bachelors degree in audio production, I know how to make a professional sounding mix. Be it indie pop or rock like Tame Impala, alternative hip hop or RnB like Tyler the Creator and Steve Lacy, or even a more electronic/synth-pop oriented sound like MGMT.
I'm a mix engineer who specializes in alternative/indie music, be it pop, hip hop, electronic or rock. I have a bachelors degree in Audio Production and have been mixing for around 4 years, although I've been fully immersed in the alternative/indie sub-culture for at least 7 years now, mixing for smaller local artists since beginning my time in college. My education in audio production gives me a thorough understanding in how to make professional sounding mixes.
Starting off in a punk band in high school, and eventually getting into indie music like The Smiths and Pavement at the start of college, I know alternative rock as well as one can. Later discovering Kanye West at 19 changed everything, which inspired my love for beat making and hip-hop altogether, with the later discovery of Frank Ocean again opening a whole new world of RnB and Soul music.
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.
