I'm a Welsh musician with a degree in Music and Creative Writing from Bangor University. I play many instruments but violin is my main instrument. I started violin lessons at the tender age of 8 and went on to become the leader of my county youth orchestra, played in North Wales Youth Orchestra and Bangor University Symphony Orchestra plus more.
Hi! I'm Sally. I'm looking for work as a session violinist. I have a home recording studio, a quality violin and the skills required to add violin to your recordings.
My first job as a session violinist was at age 15. I played a short line for Coconi, a British-American act. At university, I gained more experience as a session violinist, working with some local acts.
My musical journey started out at the age of 5 with piano lessons. At 8 I picked up the violin and the clarinet. As a violinist I became the leader of my county youth orchestra, and went from there to play first violin with North Wales Youth Orchestra. I then studied Music and Creative Writing at Bangor University in North Wales. Whilst there I played violin for Bangor University Symphony Orchestra, the Music Society Orchestra and led Bangor University String Ensemble. I played in the university's opera pit, plus a session ensemble for budding composers. And that's not all! I played violin for The Rambling Pilgrims, a North Wales folk-rock band.
When I graduated I moved to Switzerland, working outside the field of music. Moving to France, I played with a French Conservatoire Orchestra. By this time, I had started as a singer-songwriter, uploading my vein of folk-pop to the internet and playing shows. To this day, I still produce content as a singer-songwriter. I would like to get back into work as a violinist.
