APaMusiCa is Alfonso Pisanelli and specializes in composition, sound design and Mixing. Born and raised in Australia, Alfonso started receiving piano lessons at the age of 8 then moving on to guitar and drums in his teenage years, whilst showing a keen interest in recording, production and mixing.
After moving to London in 2000 he completed a degree in Popular Music Performance at Thames Valley University through Drum Tech and went on to play the drums with various bands achieving some critical success with the Showroomdummies (Midfinger Records) and then My Toys like Me (Westbury Music) touring extensively and playing festivals in the UK and Europe.
After many hours spent on the road, playing live and recording, Alfonso has decided to continue his music career by fusing all of his experience and influences into his own music compositions and mixing. Having a mixture of electronic, sound design and traditional instruments as part of his compositions he is able to tailor music around specific needs.
As a mix engineer he has mixed numerous singles and albums by artists such as Audiologue, Plastik_Elastik, Admiral Akiba, Mr Isaac, Erzsi & Friends, Ray Bixon, Ladybird Massacre and Apollo Blues Band.
He is now composing for Adverts and TV shows and is based in London.
