Your songs mixed. Your instrumentals done. Your ideas come to life.
Hi! My name is Felix Venbetho, I'm a music producer and engineer and Slickwaves is the label by which I provide professional services to artists in look to have their ideas materialized. With certified skills in music production, mixing, editing and mastering, everything is done remotely and revised as needed so that it's not only of the highest industry quality but of your liking.
When working I'm specialized in anything electronic, hip hop oriented, alternative, rock, orchestral, you name it. Anything from that house or dance infused pop song you're working on, to your indie rock band's next EP. I'm here to show you that the big synths, the orchestras and the creative effects can be achieved on your independent production with the work of some computer magic.
Your project deserves quality to be heard of, and I'm right here to help.

Interview with Slickwaves
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: - The tension required to the release desired. I'm always inmensely focused on a song giving you a sense of climax. At the end music and sound are all about storytelling. That and a sense of dynamic, there's no loud without quiet and no strong without it having it's soft spots. - A sense of aesthetic. Your song may have a message, but along with that message, how do you want it to be perceived? What image are you looking to portray? What do you see in your favourite artists that draws you to them?
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First thing I'm going to do is ask for your references and inspirations so that I can listen to them thoroughly and gather about any little bit to digest so I give you what you like and make it sound unique. Depending on the job you're asking for I'm going to proceed, but of course it includes constant updates about the stage we're at, so that you get to give ideas and participate creatively as the process goes.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Modest bedroom studio setup. A good computer that allows me to do all the heavy processing of lots of things at the same time and all the virtual instruments and audio plug-ins we may need. A Korg Minilogue xd for analogue sounds and out of the box ideas. Sennheiser HD 660 S heaphones for mix referencing. I'm a less is more type.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Luca Prestolesi, Serban Ghenea, Neal Pogue, Danger Mouse, Focus, Kennybeats, Madeon, Kevin Parker, amongst others.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
