Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That I just “fix” bad recordings. Mixing and mastering are about enhancing and balancing the track to bring out the best in the music.

A: I ask about their genre, vision, reference tracks, and where they plan to release the song. Understanding their goals helps me get the best result.

A: I start by understanding the artist’s vision, then mix and master the track for balance, clarity, and impact. I send previews, make revisions if needed, and deliver the final version.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: Very proud of a project that I fully produced mixed and mastered called Honey. It sounds amazing on streaming platforms and on vinyl.

A: Currently, I am engaged in various ongoing projects, applying my skills and expertise to diverse creative endeavors.

A: It's the ear, not the gear.

A: Clients often ask about deadlines. I can usually deliver within 1-2 days, sometimes faster depending on my workload.

A: Check their portfolio, reviews, and experience in your genre. Quality matters more than price. Ask for a sample mix if you’re unsure.

A: Laptop, Ableton Push 2, iPad, iPhone, Sennheiser HD280 headphones.

A: Building with other artists. Over 15 years.
