Xerxes-K on SoundBetter

Your ideas are what I turn into Radio-ready hits or what else you have in mind like a reference track for example. I am a Multi-genre Music Producer, Singer, Songwriter, Mix and Mastering Engineer, Supported By "Andrew Rayel" and "Aly & Fila". Check out my samples and please do not hesitate to ask any questions.

I am a full-time musician mainly focused on Producing, Singing/Songwriting, and professional Mix and Mastering. Since I'm listening and paying attention 24/7 to almost all music styles, I can make your favorite Pop, EDM, House, Techno, Melodic And Progressive House, Synthwave, Dance, LoFi, and R&B songs. I can also help you write the melodies on a beat or start an entire idea from scratch.

Regarding my singing skills, I have worked with many independent artists from around the world, in different genres and my goal is to never finish a project before we all are satisfied with the final result. High-quality Vocals including Harmonies, Ad-libs, and a rough mix of it all will also be provided.

Revisions for either singing or producing are no prob at all. depending on the project, I believe sometimes multiple adjustments, and revisions would be absolutely necessary to get to the best result.

You can send me a simple phone audio recording of yourself singing, playing guitar, piano, or other instruments, and I'll arrange an entire track based on your ideas for you.

I assure you that you'll be getting top-quality sound and it all ends to your absolute preference.

That green Button of "Contact" in the corner is waiting for you to be in touch with me and get the work done.

Send me a note through the contact button above.

Interview with Xerxes-K

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: So hard to answer this one. As a full production, my Ep "Missing Out" and my single (All My Life) are the ones I am so proud of. I put my soul into it and I'm so happy with the result. Then it comes to "Superstar Love". As a singer, Songwriter and lyricist, "Leave All Behind" which was supported by legendary Andrew Rayel and Aly & Fila. (Renedale ft Xerxes-K - leave all behind)

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Projects of other artists from all around the world and my own songs of course. Meanwhile, I'm working on developing my skills and staying updated everyday. There's no limit to that.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: At this time that I'm writing this, no. But hopefully soon, the more I work here, the more I get to know other artists on Soundbetter.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Well thanks to the technology, the difference between analog and digital gear is getting less and less every day. But let's be honest, being able to have your hand on an analog one is a fantastic vibe!

  9. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  10. A: I honestly haven't came across one yet. But one that I heard a lot about, was the idea of thinking that if something was done in a short amount of time, then it should have been easy! But the fact is, if it's done quickly and has high quality, then it's valuable and comes from years of experience.

  11. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  12. A: a powerful laptop, a pair of really good speaker monitors, great headphones, a mic, and an archive of milions of songs.

  13. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  14. A: I've been doing Music Production/Mix and Mastering for the past 8 years as a Music Producer, artist, and beatmaker. about writing melodies and Lyrics, I remember I've been doing that since I was 10 years old. it's like I hear the simplest sound and I come up with the right melody for it. as a singer, gotta say since the age of 13.

  15. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  16. A: EDM, Pop, House, Melodic House, Deep House, LoFi, Trap, Rap, Hip-hop, Synthwave, and R&B are the type of songs I usually work on. Film scoring and making music for games is another type of music I work on from time to time.

  17. Q: What's your typical work process?

  18. A: as a Music Producer/Beat Maker, Singer, and Songwriter: it all starts with understanding exactly what you have in mind. it can be a rough mix or a reference track. keeping that in mind, I'll add my own creativity and the artist's flavor to the song to have a great combination of everything. I also do mix and mastering while I'm making a song. so in the end, It'll be either a fully mixed track or at least a rough mix depending on what the artist wants. Mix and Mastering: I start with listening to a rough mix or a reference track. then, level matching the instruments after organizing them would be my first technical step keeping in mind what the artist wants. the rest of the work depends on many factors and your desires. Vocals: I usually come up with the melody first and then I'll choose the best words to fit that Melody. recording Harmonies and ad-libs of course is one of the most fun parts of the job. if the lyrics are already written by someone else, no prob at all. I won't make even the smallest changes without your permission.

  19. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  20. A: We know that nowadays, anywhere can be a studio to a producer/musician thanks to the technology. We've heard many amazing hits that came out from a laptop in a bedroom. I'll spend most of my time in my own home studio and when needed, I'll take the work to a more professional studio if there's something I want to specifically triple check in a certain way.

  21. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  22. A: I assume that it's a project of my own. first, I'll do my best to understand exactly what you have in mind to achieve. it can be technical or artistic, it can be solving a problem or creating something. good understanding and good communication combined with my experience and work will lead to a great result.

  23. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  24. A: to consider your song or project as if it's mine and treat it the same way. in another word, putting all my best into work.

  25. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  26. A: It's all about music.

  27. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  28. A: a general question like "how much making a song would cost?". my answer to that is "That depends on what type of song we're talking about. the scope of work can be different when it comes to the details. that's why again, I'm saying a reference track or a rough mix would make the communication much easier.

  29. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  30. A: a reference track or a rough mix so I have a better understanding of what they have in mind regarding the style, vibe, feeling, and the final result.

  31. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  32. A: help your provider to understand exactly what you're looking for. it can be as simple as mentioning a reference track that in the end, you want to sound close to that. time is a super valuable asset to all of us, so let's respect that and make sure we'll get to the best final result together.

  33. Q: How would you describe your style?

  34. A: A combination of my favorite artists plus that unique special taste of my own creativity.

  35. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  36. A: there are many artists to mention honestly, but let's say working with Rufus Du Sol and Kaskade would be super awesome.

  37. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  38. A: comparing your production with the ones that inspire you the most is a key. in the end, music is not just one technical world, you can make your own rules in a creative way in developing your skills in multiple sections would help it a lot.

  39. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  40. A: Writing Melodies and turning ideas into a song. Being a Music Producer, Singer, Songwriter, and Beat Maker are the things I'm busy with the most at the end of the day. doing all that for so long helped me to develop my skills in the Mix and Mastering section as well and I'm ready to bring an artist's song back to life so that it can be compared with their favorite songs/artists.

  41. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  42. A: in one word "Life". I'll do my best to make a radio hit ready out of it.

  43. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  44. A: since I am into a lot of genres, I can mention many musicians, artists, and music producers who inspire me a lot. production-wise, artists like Rufus Du Sol, The Weeknd, The Midnight, Tiesto, Marshmallo, inspire me a lot when it comes to Dance Music/Beat, EDM, Pop, Future Bass, Synthwave, and all sort of Electronic-Pop. but on many different genres like Trap, Melodic House, Deep House, Hip-hop, Rap, R&B, etc... there are so many artists to mention. ATB, Ben Bohmer, Post Malone, Jack Harlow, Billie Eilish, Axwell, Eminem, Kendric Lamar, H.E.R, Khalid, Drake, and so on.
