I am in a cover band, starting out small. I sing and play bass and trombone. I write my band's lyrics and some music.
I am a musician, but I am also a studio editor and help artists record their tracks. I do all kinds of rock. I go out of my way to help my clients, no matter what it is that they need. I have a couple clients that keep coming back to me, because they say that they love how I work and what I do.
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Interview with Susannah Yarbrough
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I either write lyrics or play an instrument on their song track.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am heavily influenced by Avenged Sevenfold, Marianas Trench, Simple Plan, Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, and Set It Off. Music producers and engineers that have inspired me are Andrew Mudrock and Fred Archambault.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Everything that my clients ask and more.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise that they will get what they ask and more. I treat my clients like my friends because they are my friends and partners and I want the best for them
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill would be that I can work at odd hours. If a client needs me too, I can work early in the morning or even in the middle of the night.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on most types of rock; metal, grunge, punk, even ska and rap-rock.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: When writing music -lyrics or music- it is best to know what key you want to sing or play in.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Avenged Sevenfold. They are crazy on tour, but my idol -Fred Archambault- says that the are dedicated and hardworking in the studio.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Even if you don't want to work with me. Look for someone who is dedicated to their work and their clients.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: After I work with them, I ask them if they would want to work with me again. It gives them the knowledge that I enjoyed the time. It also gives me feedback so I can improve.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Most people think of me as a fraud because I'm a female in the music business doing many things and I'm trying to get by.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: My clients usually ask me what do I specialize in, I tell them if you want it, you'll have it.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I would recommend Fred Archambault to my clients. He is an amazing man and one of the best sound engineers in the country.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: What I like most about my job is that I get to work with people who have the same mindset as me. Usually the clients that I work with are new and upcoming bands and artists, I know what it is like to be stressed out over a track or not know what to do. I get to help them through the process.
