Professional audio engineer, sound designer and music composer with credits in Hollywood trailer music scene, tv documentaries, art installations and advertising.
With 6 years of experience in audio production field I had a great many opportunity to try my hand at almost every role imaginable before focusing my craft on post-production and sound mixing. A journey that involved stitching together hour-long documentaries on tight deadlines, mixing and mastering short films en route to festivals, restoring dialogue, field recordings, ADR and more.
On the more creative side, I am a self-trained musician and media composer writing cinematic trailer music for the Really Slow Motion and Immediate Music labels in Hollywood, with a particular incline towards grand and beautiful orchestras, as well as dark and brooding synths. Highlights include a license for The Mandalorian trailer on Disney+, Huawei promo and a full album release headlined by one of my cues. I am also familiar with doing custom sound design work for art installations, advertising and interactive media under the umbrella of my co-founded studio Binary Sound.
Let's have a friendly 1-on-1 chat to go over your vision and reference points, before committing to anything. After that we can talk price and deadlines. Since all of my work is done in Cubase, Ableton, Bitwig, Reaper, Pro Tools and Logic Pro, we can also exchange projects instead of stems if that suits your preference better.
Looking forward to our mutual partnership.

Mark was super responsive, easy to work with and most importantly made my mix sound great! Would recommend and will use again.

Mark did a great job mixing my hybrid orchestral track. It sounds big, clear and more natural which is something I wouldn't have been able to accomplish mixing it myself. Mark was also very professional and I would definitely hire him again for other projects.

First time using this service and I was a bit skeptical however after meeting Mark I was instantly comforted by his level of professionalism and guidance. I thoroughly appreciated his advice and feedback on my tracks making me rethink how I arrange/compose/mix for the industry. Then after receiving my mastered track I was blown away on how he brought the track to life! Individual instruments were a lot clearer, had their own space & more power & punch to my hits. Thanks again, Mark

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Doesn't matter, as long as the right person is behind the wheel.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: A way to contribute to something bigger than yourself.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: You don't have to speak 'musician's language' to get your point and vision across. Just describe the emotional context and provide a couple of clear references to ensure success.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Divide and conquer: split a challenging task into smaller steps and methodically complete them one-by-one.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Share your client's vision. Research the subject. Apply your own experience. Iterate until the job is done.
