Chief Engineer at Covenant Recording. I've recorded, mixed, and mastered many artists, including Rī Wolf, Texas Blues Rangers, Brody Blue, and Estrategia Nortena. My work comes across like my personality: authentic and genuine. I help artists achieve the vision they want with their music and I maintain the integrity of the performance.

I started my career in music as a singer-songwriter and spent a decade performing my originals for folks, but it wasn't until I started trying to produce my own stuff that I truly fell in love with audio engineering. My obsession with it turned into a position at Covenant Recording (Amarillo's premiere studio) as the Chief Engineer. It's given me the opportunity to work with some brilliant up-and-coming local artists, as well as some abroad throughout Texas and the surrounding areas.

When I'm not tracking and producing, my passion is mixing and mastering. I love taking someone's idea and turning into a reality, making their dreams come true. I specialize in maintaining the integrity of the artist's performance while still making it sound commercial. I also have an extensive background in arrangement which helps me make critical mixing decisions catered to the instrumentation.

Here at Covenant we have a vintage 32-channel Neve console and an Augspurger-designed control room that helps bring your tracks to life. I typically mix in the box; however, we have an extensive array of outboard gear that we can use to mix through the Neve if you desire. We also have full suites of all the major plugin brands (UA, Plugin Alliance, Waves, Slate, FabFilter).

We got the privilege of having Andrew as our engineer while recording the first half of our album. Although we are a new genre (Norteño Sax) for Andrew he quickly became familiar with the different sounds and was on top of everything. He was able to add that punchy heavy drum sound that we like! Hands down on our top list of engineers! We will continue to work with him. 20/10 recommend!
