No matter the genre, I'll provide a beautiful, professional mix for a fraction of the cost. I specialize in home-recorded material and live-recorded sessions, and can give digital recordings analog warmth in-the-box that so many people love. I've worked on Americana, Folk, Worship, Country, Rock, and even Progressive Metal.
I've spent the last seven-plus years mixing and mastering. Most of my experience has come from my own material, but I have also mixed for my church and heavy rock bands. I specialize in bringing out high-quality mixes from home recordings and adding analog warmth in-the-box that is sought after by so many artists. I work remotely from my home studio, Yellow Rose Garden Recordings, in a treated mixing room - so I can work for you even from thousands of miles away. And revisions are free - I want to get you the product you want.
My masters are checked with references for loudness, spectral balance, and dynamics. All of my mixes and masters are double-checked on common listening sources, such as car stereos and headphones.
In addition to mixing and mastering songs, I have also mixed podcasts and recorded dialogue.

Endorse Andrew M. AkinsI have worked with Andrew as a podcast producer for several years. He has provided original music and mixing for my long-form spoken word podcast, Breaking the Digital Spell. There is nobody else that I would chose to work with; he has a rare balance of professionalism and approachability, his critiques are always constructive, and he has never turned any work in to me past a deadline. I have never been disappointed with his work in the four years I've worked with him, and if you hire him for your project, you won't be disappointed either.
