Endorse RYYZNThis duo is the amazing group ever. I enjoy their songs, livestreams, and the skits they made in the past. They done collaborations with Marcus James, Miles Away, and some others. I enjoy the songs that they put out. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professionally written song!
This duo is awesome! A couple of very hard workers who put out consistently high quality hip hop music, and they’ve been trying to get more into music video production alongside it. They absolutely deserve to get big! 5/5!
Interview with RYYZN
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Our next few singles!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, because we don't own any analog gear
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: We will provide quality service, in a timely manner
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Our laptop, microphone, interface, acoustic guitar, and a solar panel charging station lol
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Music has always been a part of our lives, as we started singing at an early age. We toured professionally for a combined 7 years, performing all over the Canada. We then decided that we wanted to pick up music production so we wouldn't have to depend on anyone else to create what I envisioned. Through hard work and networking, we've had the privilege to work with some of the industry's leading songwriters and producers.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Jon Bellion, because he is our biggest inspiration.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Go with what 'feels' right, and not necessarily what 'sounds' right.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Our greatest strength is coming up with good melodies/hooks. It comes very natural to us and we believe that every song that we write for, we can make catchy and memorable, no matter the genre.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Two vocalists with two different vocal styles. That is quite unique as we are able to cover a large array of genres.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: We'll usually each bang out a rough version of where with think the song should go, and then we brainstorm together to hash out the best ideas. Once we're both satisfied with the writing, we'll go ahead and record the final vocals.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Our home studio includes the professional grade Røde K2 microphone, as well as the WA8000 Tube Condenser Microphone which we connect to Logic Pro X through our RME Audio Interface.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Our biggest inspiration has to be Jon Bellion. He's the reason we got into music production. We also respect Russ because of what he's accomplished independently. Both those guys showed us it's possible to do everything yourself, from the songwriting to the mastering.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The majority of our work is writing/singing toplines for other producers.
