I have been producing and songwriting for 15 years and now work out of a Warner Artist's studio. I was also mentored by an Atlantic engineer for 4 years. I specialize in writing/producing for these three genres: Rap, R&B and Pop. I can deliver whatever is needed in timely fashion.
My name is Khallil and I am a artist, songwriter and producer. I have been songwriting and producing for 15+ years with no plans of stopping anytime soon. My favorite genres to work on are Rap, R&B and pop though I can truly write to anything. I also can top line for those genres as well. My style of writing is very poetic and emotional. You should hire me because as an artist myself, I know what others are looking for in their art and how to execute it in a timely fashion. Right now I work out of a Warner Signed Artist's studio and have all the equipment needed to reach your desired sound. I'm excited to help you reach your dreams!

Interview with Khallil Stewart
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My recent song and music video. I was the artist, co producer and creative director for the project
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on my own project and releases as well as all the other projects I pick up on sound better.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Devmo and yes I would
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I like both but digital is more accessible and can be used anywhere. But nothing can beat the analog sound!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to deliver exactly what you want and more! I promise to deliver the project on time as well!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love the freedom to create at all times. Create things I want to create.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: When can you start? "As soon as you send the files"
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That anyone can do it? Yes, anyone can if you put the time into it but if you don't then how can you expect it to be easy?
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What do you want? What is the song about? What type of style are you looking for? Any references? Is my name on the track?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be detailed in what you want while allowing them to be creative
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop, interface, mic, headphones and Kaotica Ball
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I want and will be the greatest artist of my generation and arguably the greatest artist ever. I've been doing this since I was 6 years old.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is music that makes you feel. No matter what genre.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would like to work with Kanye West because he pushes the music boundary every time he releases
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Do not over produce
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Usually rap, r&b and alternative rock.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is lyrics and vocal melodies.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring swag, energy, vocal melodies, lyrical content, and presence
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually make the beat first if I'm producing, figure out a melody, freestyle the verse and chorus. Sometimes I will write if the song calls for it but I've been free styling since I was a child so it comes very natural to me. Lyrics are my favorite parts of a song and what I pay attention to most when listening to others. Then its the production, then vocal melody. When all 3 are in line you got a hit.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I mostly record at my hours studio or an Atlantic Records Artist's studio. In my home studio I have JBL Monitors, Master Dynamic Headphones, Clarett 2+ interface, Rhode Mic, Pro tools with majority of wave plugins, and a Kaotica Ball.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Kanye west, Jay Z, Kid Cudi, Mac Miller, Travis Scott, Ed Sheeran, Asap Rocky, Bad Bunny and J. Cole
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly provide rap verses, rap choruses, singing verses, singing choruses, top lining and songwriting.
