I am Jacob Tipper, an experienced Audio-Video Engineer. I specialize as a live audio engineer in Northern California, and have performed and operated music most of my life as an engineer & drummer. My goal is to help bring your story, your art, to life in an effective creative way.

Background:
I have been involved in music most of my life, starting as a drummer from a very young age. I have performed and recorded with multiple bands starting in elementary to college. I found my passion for audio engineering and completed schooling taught by mixing and mastering engineer Brenden Duffey (Kendrick Lamar, megadeath and more). This pulled me into all kinds of productions and people in the industry that I am grateful to work with.

Daily Work & Experience: I provide professional insight on exactly what your show needs, guiding you the whole way from pre-planning, gear rentals, and set up labor, to accomplish your dream show.
My daily set-up and operation work includes experience in Audio, Video, projection, lighting and outdoor/ Indoor Rigging. I operate musical concerts, such as a private show for Grammy award winner Ashanti, as well as theatrical shows, galas, weddings, and corporate shows across the west coast. Some notable people I have worked with personally are Tom Cruise, Chris Nolan, Aaron Donald, Devante Adams, Gavin Newsom, Nancy Polosei, Jim Brown, Ashanti, and more.

Certifications & Other Skills:
Dante level 3, Allen and Heath DLive & Avantis, Mac & Windows, most streaming platforms, pro presenter, and more. I have experience with various levels and brands of audio consoles such as Yamaha, Midas/behringer, Allen & Heath, and soundcraft.
