I am Jacob Tipper, a Sacramento local, producer and audio engineer. I specialize as a live audio engineer in Northern California, and have performed and operated music most of my life as an engineer & drummer. This is from a lifelong passion of music & the want to make your event/show perfect! My goal is to help bring your art & ideas to life!

Background:
American River College graduate with commercial studio recording and music business degrees. I have been involved in music most of my life, starting as a drummer from a very young age. I have performed and recorded with a few bands starting in elementary to college. I found my passion for audio engineering and completed schooling taught by mixing and mastering engineer Brenden Duffey. This pushed me into all kinds of productions and people in the industry that I am grateful to work and partner with. This started my local business "Tipper Sound & Production" which I hope to work with you and help bring your art to life!

Daily Work & Experience:
My daily set-up and pre production planning work includes, Audio, Video production, projection, lighting and outdoor/ Indoor Rigging. I operate musical concerts, such as a private show for Grammy award winning artist Ashanti, as well as in theaters such as Memorial Auditorium in Downtown Sacramento, and corporate shows at the Sacramento Convention Center.

Certifications & Other Skills:
Dante level 1 & 2, Allen and Heath DLive & Avantis, Protools level 1 & 2, Mac & Windows, OBS/YouTube streaming, and more. I have experience with various different audio consoles and speakers, but I specialize in JBL speaker systems (VTX A6's & A20's) and its software (JBL Calc and Performance Manager).
