Hi, I'm Dagny. Professionally known as Shredtune, I am a highly refined producer/audio engineer with a very keen ear for detail.
Raised on 70s Rock music, my interest in this field began at an early age when I discovered that demos and rough mixes of my favourite songs were becoming quite widely available on various reissues. It was a wonder to hear work in progress versions of music, and inspiring to hear the characteristics of the producer shine through the whole process.
Learning the techniques of the trade was like opening a world of intrigue; even more so under the technological constraints of the past. The drum micing methods and careful restraint employed by Glyn Johns stands out to me, and I like to honour the versatility and genius of some of those (and similar) classics to this day.
I believe in capturing the raucous and wild temper that can be present within music; that imperfections can portray emotion and soul. Music is meant to be heard with clarity. It is my job to enable you to take control of your project and help you to realise your vision.
