Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I m working in the Koritni's new album. It will be a powerful hard rock album and i relive my old loves
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Digital because it works fine and for its flexibility. Analog for the authenticity
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Serious, honest and fast work
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My old 52 reissue fullerton, my Zvex Box Of Rock,
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Nearly 20 years
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I'm a rocker who like to play lot of different kind of music. I try to play strongest part with solid skill and bring power, sensibility and authenticity.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: There is no truth, if it works, keep it and do it. The most important thing is the final result, not how you do.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, Hard Rock and Country style.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I like to create new tracks, to give additional ideas even if the artist did not ask for it. Since we get to work more and more away from each other, I like to give a lot of choices if I'm inspired.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: my vision of music and sound.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I receive the witness track I listen it i chat with the artist about his wishes, kind of sound he wants and if he can send me samples to inspire me for the sound. i record some test track (ideas, playing, sound) i wait for the artist's validation I record the final tracks I Send its (i have fiber, it's very very very very fast)
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I recorded all my tracks on Studio One Professional by Presonus with my brand nw Apple M1. I Use my UAD Apollo interface and Unisson preamp with my microphones setup : SM7b for proxy avec AKG451 for room. It work a lot.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: AC/DC, Bruce Springsteen, Brad Paisley and the Black Crowes are my principal inspiration in the sound and playing.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Some guitar tracks i recorded at my studio.
