Interview with Seba Dentis
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I worked on a project with my girlfriend, translating to English the song "Tan enamorados" by Ricardo Montaner and singing as a duet. It's a love song well known here on Latin America and we put our heart to it. It gives me chills everytime I hear it.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I'm new here but I would love to make new connections :)
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise compromise and dedication to every project, I put my heart on every single song.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love to manage my time. Is a job that requires to contantly improve my skills and learn something new every day.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Can you make a short demo? Sure, I can send you a 20-sec demo for free. Doesn't include lyrics.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: My native language. I'm a latin spanish speaker.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Notebook, Mic, USB interface, guitar, piano.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I studied several years to improve my singing technique, at that time it was just a hobbie. I was working on a communication company but i decided to quit and go for my dream. Now I've been working as a session singer for about 3 years with producers all over the world. I'm so happy!

A: Singing is my strongest skill.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring emotion and power to the song trying to match the vision of the producer.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: If you need just vocal recording I always ask for a rough vocal guide, lyrics and the instrumental track so I can start recording. If you need lyrics and the topline I always start with the melody and once I have something I like I make the lyrics.

A: I have an Audio-Technica AT 2035 mic, a DBX 286s preamplifier and Audient Id14 mkII USB interface.
